Wareham Boat Hire Ltd promises to be as considerate to our beautiful local environment as possible and we make the following Green Pledge;

• We will carry out an annual ‘River Clean’.
• Where possible all staff will walk or cycle into work.
• We will use less than 400 kWh of Electricity Per Annum – just 10% of the average UK home and no fossil fuels.
• Our customers will always be offered boats that can be powered without the use of fossil fuels.
• NB: Our outboard engines use less than 1 litre of fuel per hour. We are constantly reviewing the suitability of Electric Outboards and although we do not believe they yet offer the versatility required for our customers we offer the very latest electric Torquedo outboard on request.
